Goals / remit of the organisation: Act as the European-level umbrella organisation of socialist and social democratic youth organisations.

Act as the youth organisation of the Party of European Socialists and the S&D Group in the European Parliament.

Organise the exchange of information and practices between
the member organisations.

In accordance with the ECOSY Position Paper “Our future for Europe”, during the mandate 2013-2015 ECOSY – Young European Socialists will focus on the following political priorities:

-Full (youth) employment
-Democratic economy
-Inclusive democracy

YES has to be a strong and progressive organisation that brings together young socialists and social democrats from all across Europe in order to:

- Strengthen socialist and social democratic (youth) movements in Europe.
- To lobby for our political priorities within the socialist movement as well as in the society.
- To empower, train and support our Member Organisations and activists.
- To facilitate exchange of ideas, methods and debate between MOs and young socialists across Europe.
