Goals / remit of the organisation: The Global Acetate Manufacturers association was established to enhance the long-term viability of cellulose acetate and its derivative products on a worldwide basis. GAMA’s mission is to advance, develop and promote the products, and to jointly address the challenges the industry faces.
Its main activities include the promotion of cellulose acetate, enhance the competitive quality of the products, engage in joint research and development projects, cooperate and address environmental issues in the most cost-effective manner and help in public relations efforts.
