Goals / remit
| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
Svensk Kollektivtrafik – the Swedish Public Transport Association – is the trade organisation of local and regional public transport in Sweden. We also have associated members who are suppliers and consultants to the industry. Svensk Kollektivtrafik supports its members by representing the public transport sector, spreading know-how on and increasing the insight about public transport among decision-makers, nationally and internationally. Svensk Kollektivtrafik supports co-operation within the industry and operational development based on the needs of the passengers. Together with the members, work is conducted on business monitoring, opinion and market surveys, and the development of common systems and standards. We regularly arrange conferences, workshops and network meetings on questions of current interest. The board is appointed from among the politically elected boards of our member organisations.
