Danmark mod Landminers formål er
1. At informere den danske offentlighed om landmineproblematikken samt udføre lobbyarbejde over for politikere og andre beslutningstagere.
2. At indsamle midler fra private, virksomheder og fonde til at finansiere minerydning og mine-awareness. Mine-awareness er undervisning i hvordan man undgår at blive sprængt i luften når man lever i et mine-område
Danmark mod Landminer er dermed den eneste danske organisation, som målbevidst arbejder udelukkende mod udbredelsen samt brugen af landminer.
