DIF (Directors' Institute of Finland) is a non-profit organization serving the Finnish business community by promoting good governance and professional board practices. The association has some 300 individual members, all of whom have significant experience from working as a member of a company board. A considerable number of the members of the association act, or have acted, as members of the boards of listed companies.
DIF is the Finnish member of the European Confederation of Directors’ Association (ecoDa), the European umbrella organization for associations of directors and board members.
The core values of DIF are ethics, shareholder value and good corporate governance.
