Bio.be is the Belgian biotechnology industry organisation.
Bio.be represents the companies and professionals involved in research, development, testing, production or marketing of biotechnology applications, as well as those servicing the biotechnology community.
Bio.be was founded on January 2006 as a result of the merger of the Belgian Bioindustries Association (BBA) and BelgoBiotech.

We mainly lobby for :
1. Red biotech (pharmaceutical)
2. Green biotech (agriculture)
3. White biotech (industrial).
For those 3 area's, we closely monitor the legislation and lobby and work together with regional and federal authorities and administrations. We also lobby on a European level.
