• NATRUE is a non-profit association representing authentic natural and organic cosmetic industry.

• Our goal is to promote and protect natural and organic cosmetic products with a high standard of quality and integrity as set out in our NATRUE criteria.

• NATRUE ensures the availability of high quality raw materials for natural organic cosmetics (e.g. sustainable/organic production of ingredients).

• We embrace people who share the belief of harmony and nature and join forces to protect nature and biodiversity

• Our main lobbying activity is to establish an appropriate and strict definition of authentic ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ cosmetics.

• We also would like to work closely with the European Institutions to ensure safety and quality of natural and organic cosmetic ingredients and products (e.g. though REACH, Cosmetic Directive (78/768/EEC), and Regulation (EC) No 1223 2009 on cosmetic products).
