Der Bundesverband Deutscher Leasing-Unternehmen e. V. ist Alleinvertreter der deutschen Leasing-Wirtschaft. Oberstes Verbandsziel ist es, Leasing in Deutschland zu fördern und zu schützen, wobei die Sicherung fairer steuerlicher, rechtlicher und wirtschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen für die Branche im Mittelpunkt steht. Der BDL setzt sich gegenüber dem Gesetzgeber und der Verwaltung für eine sachgerechte Gesetzgebung und Verwaltungspraxis in allen leasingrelevanten Rechtsgebieten ein - vor allem im Handels- und Steuerrecht, im Zivilrecht sowie bei staatlichen Fördermaßnahmen.
