    Goals / remit

The TUSKON EU office is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental business organization which represents the Confederation of Businessmen’s and Industrialists’ of Turkiye in Brussels, the capital of Europe. The TUSKON EU office works to establish a mutual understanding between the European institutions and the Turkish private sector and to bring both European and Turkish businessman together to create new synergetic cooperation’s and business opportunities. At the same time, the TUSKON EU Office aims to provide correct and unbiased information and knowledge about Turkiye on economic, social, political and business matters to the European establishment and create its proper communication network with European business organisations, think tanks and EU Institutions.


TUSKON EU aspires to :

• Be a partner for European to exchange reliable information and knowledge between Turkiye and the European Union on economic, social, and political issues by organizing meetings, panels, conferences, reports, newsletters, press releases,

• Keep the communication network between the EU and Turkiye open and enhance the integration of Turkish businessmen in the world by following the economic and business developments in the European Union,

• Share the knowledge, experience and relations which Turkish and European businessmen may need while doing business in the European Union, Turkiye and the rest of the world,

• Enhance economic, political and social ties between Turkiye and the European Union and searching ways to strengthen Turkish-EU business, economic and political relations.

• Analyze the potential of the European Union for the Turkish Business community by examining the developing sectors in addition to main markets,

• Bring the Turkish business point of the view Turkish to the attention of the European Union Institutions, think-tank, business organisations and the European business world;

• Organize business trips from Turkiye to US and from US to Turkey to create new networks and enhance existing networks between Turkiye and the European Union.

    Membership and affiliation

TUSKON is a independent business confederation from Turkey, working in Brussels in order to promote and enhance the dialogue between Turkey and the European Union. In order to achieve this goals TUSKON has set up in partnership with the European Policy Centre, the Turkish Insights program. Within this framework, TUSKON and EPC, organize together panels, roundtable discussions and different programs in order to provide the Brussels public a better understanding on the dynamics of Turkish politics, society and economy.
