    Goals / remit

The International Modern Media Institute is an Iceland-based foundation operating towards securing freedom of expression, freedom of information and privacy defining new operating principles for the global media. We strive to reopen the discussion about how free speech is defined and how it is to be protected, so that we can rethink this important issue and find appropriate solutions for the digital age. We conduct research into best practice law and prepare reports and arguments for new legislation and legislative reform.

In 2013 we had no income, in 2014 we had a small income from an FP7 project we are participants in and the same again, so far, for 2015. Other than that, we have no revenue stream.
