We are the Shortsea Promotion Centre for France, membre of the European Shortsea Network.

Goals / remit
| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
* Give to state authorities (central administration, local collectivities) and some companies (transport service provider, shippers, operators...) a exchange plateform and reflexion on the potencies of shortsea shipping at the local, national and european level
* Holding updated a data base concerning shortsea service to / from french port.
* Identify freight that can be shift from road to sea or multimodal with a sea leg
* Increase the knowledge on the economical condition to manage to launch a maritime service (failure and success stories in France and Europe), on bottlenecks and solutions
* Inform public concerned by the evolution of the legal, economical, technical environment (documentary watch, studies...)
