Dans le cadre de l'initiative lancée par la Commission Européenne à l'automne 2010 avec la publication d'un Livre Vert (Audit policy; lessons from the crisis), Mazars s'est engagé dans les débats européens afin de promouvoir un cadre règlementaire fiable et solide permettant la création d'un Marché Unique de l'audit en Europe, ouvert et diversifié.
Depuis la publication en novembre 2011 de propositions législatives par la Commission Européenne, Mazars a renouvelé son engagement auprès des acteurs institutionnels de l'Union et son souhait de voir l'émergence d'un marché de l'audit diversifié œuvrant pour la stabilité financière en Europe.
