Activities
Main EU initiatives covered the year before by activities falling under the scope of the Transparency Register:
|
Access advocates for the protection of human rights in the digital environment by ensuring an open internet where the rights of citizens - including freedom of expression, freedom of association, access to information and privacy - are upheld. This includes, but is not limited to, copyright and intellectual property issues, privacy (e.g. data protection, data retention, etc) and freedom of expression (media plurality, etc).
Access is a non-profit NGO and therefore does not engage in lobbying efforts, as it does not stand to gain financially from any of these activities.
