L’Associazione ha le seguenti finalità :
• promuovere la cultura delle libertà e dei valori dell'Occidente nel quadro di una rinnovata idea d'Europa, forte delle proprie radici e consapevole del proprio ruolo nei nuovi scenari internazionali;
• accrescere la consapevolezza del patrimonio comune, di cultura, arte storia e ambiente, con una visione dinamica dell'identità nazionale, dello sviluppo sostenibile, dei nuovi diritti civili, sociali e ambientali e delle pari opportunità;
• sviluppare la cultura della responsabilità e del merito ad ogni livello, per far emergere una classe dirigente consapevole dei diritti e dei doveri dell'Italia e dell'Unione Europea e adeguata a governare le sfide della modernità e della globalizzazione;
• promuovere rapporti di carattere internazionale, anche con enti e fondazioni straniere;
• promuovere e svolgere attività di ricerca scientifica di particolare interesse sociale, direttamente ovvero per il tramite di Università, Enti di ricerca ed altre fondazioni o istituzioni.
