Horticonsult Global Partners BV is a network organization, specialized in strategic policy studies and market research, drawing up of inventories for strategic policy purposes of horticulture and floriculture industries and export promotion of horticulture and ornamental products. Besides that, also exchange of knowledge, amongst other means by organizing seminars for all categories of stakeholders, belongs to Horticonsult’s core business.

Strategy & Sustainability
Strategic studies and stock taking for statistical purposes are mainly commissioned by national governments or governmental bodies as well as by national organizations of producers of horticultural and floriculture products and (inter)national development organizations. In many cases the development of a sustainable horticultural industry plays an important role in this studies.
Horticonsult always hires the best horticultural experts and works with renowned Dutch agricultural institutes. Horticonsult is strongly focused on cost efficiency in order to keep expenses as low as possible for all stakeholders. Our motto is: ‘Best value for money’.
Network Organization
Horticonsult will hire, if required, the best available scientists, mainly Dutch, in order to carry out a project to the best of its abilities. Horticonsult has excellent contacts with Dutch agricultural institutes and individual experts with an outstanding reputation in almost all agricultural and horticultural disciplines.
Approach
Horticonsult approach of executing a project is always ‘bottom up’, even when a project is commissioned by a governmental body. Commitment of the primary production sector is essential for a successful execution of improvement projects. From our experience we learned that a ‘top down’ approach often is less successful.
Communication
Extensive communication with stakeholders during the entire project is essential for an excellent execution of a project, as well as for a best possible acceptance by all stakeholders of the recommended improvement programmes.
Horticonsult is often invited as a speaker at horticultural or floriculture seminars all over the world. Strategy, statistics, marketing and sustainability play a key role in his presentations.
