Goals / remit of the organisation: To represent the professional qualified tourist guides worldwide including in Europe. To support and improve the quality, services and standards of tourist guides and to add value to the visitor's expierience. To promote tourist guide training and life-long training, as the main factor for cultural and natural heritage interpretation.
Within the EU we support Area Specific qualifications as enshrined in EN 13809 and EN 15565.
