Goals / remit
| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
Camfil Farr is a manufacturer of air filtration devices. More and more studies show the impact on health of air pollution people are exposed to. Outdoor air pollution, especially particulates and gases infiltrate in buildings where we wpend 90% of our time. Indoor air pollution can be 50 times higher than outdoors.
Buildings regulations are not strong enough to ensure appropriate protection of people. However solutions and reference standards exist. they are overlooked by policy makers. In the context of energy efficiency policies, Indoor air quality is at stakes and could be compromised. We advocate for a sustainable balance between climate policies and health policies.
