• Overall 4y6m of work experience, of which 2-year experience in the field of local and international development (research project, evaluation and management of projects) in international contexts;

•Two years of specific experience in assignments covering the preparation and management of EU-funded projects in the field of research, innovation, industrial development (including SMEs development), health, agriculture, environment gained by working with research centres, consultancy companies and public bodies;

•Good knowledge of project reports compilation, especially for research funds for SMEs and in international project applications (over all FP7 and CIP EU Programs).

•Very good knowledge of the EU procedures related to grants; good knowledge about EU Institutions, bodies and programmes;

Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: First clients Moverim:

Advising and assisting Universities, Scientific Centres and Companies with a focus on EU research policy and EU project management: leading role in communication and dissemination activities and international project management;
In charge of call for proposals preparation, negotiation phase in the managerial, communication, dissemination and financial aspects for EC-funded projects, such as FP7, REGPOT, CIPS, LIFE+, etc.
Selection of winning partnerships/consortia, design of innovative actions and identification of suitable target countries, according to specific eligibility criteria.
Support to the management of 2 long-term projects awarded through a call for proposal: INNOVABONE (FP7 HEALTH EU Funded – 7M €), ATOPICA (FP7 HEALTH EU Funded – 7 M €)
Frequent contacts with scientific and administrative personnel involved in EU projects, project partners and the European Commission in order to plan a well coordinated project and to periodically submit project outputs such as financial and narrative reports;
Monitoring EU funding calls for proposals within FP7, CIP, LIFE+, Europe-aid, etc.
Managing a team responsible for external communication, monitoring activities and online updates regarding news, calls and seminars mainly for the FP7.
Organizing seminars, training courses and practical guidance to public officials, innovation centres and development agencies.
Disseminating information on EU issues to partners.

Second Clients Fondazione Diritti Genetici

Advising and assisting the Fondazione Diritti Genetici in projects management in the field of Agricultural Research for Mediterranean countries and in the field of social inclusion, funded by the EU (i.e. the call for proposal LIFE +, ERC, KBBE, ENPI) and other international donors (i.e. OECD);
In charge of the preparation of an ENPI project, covering agricultural development in North Africa, which has been awarded (MAP-Med, 1.8M );
