Der VKS hat eine doppelte Funktion:
1. Arbeitgeberverband
Als Arbeitgeberverband ist der VKS Tarifvertragspartei
für etwa 9000 Beschäftigte in der Kali- und Salz-
industrie.
- Gestaltung flexibler tarifvertraglicher Regelungen
sowie der Lohn- und Gehaltsstruktur unter
Berücksichtigung betrieblicher Besonderheiten.
- Erhalt angemessener Arbeitsbedingungen für die
Beschäftigten.
2. Wirtschaftsverband
Als Wirtschaftsverband vertritt der VKS die
wirtschaftlichen und wirtschaftspolitischen
Mitgliederinteressen auf nationaler wie auf
europäischer Ebene.
- Schaffung ausgewogener Rahmenbedingungen für die
Gewinnung heimischer Rohstoffe.
- Sicherstellung der gleichrangigen Abwägung der
Nachhaltigkeitsbelange.
- Faire und gleiche Wettbewerbsbedingungen auf den
internationalen Märkten.
