Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: NuovaQuasco is an in house society, founded and held by Local government and other Public bodies from Emilia-Romagna.
According to the Regional Law 20/2007, NuovaQuasco is charged with realizing and managing informative systems and observatories in the following fields:
Public works, supplies and services;
Health and safety at work;
Housing policies and building quality;
Environment, including water services’ and garbage disposal’s management.

Nuova Quasco functions as technical support, dissemination of data, promoter of quality in the management of contract procedures, public actors’ training and professional update, support to the participation in European Union’s programmes.
Since 1985 the society worked on: quality certification, safety in construction sites, technical law and documentation, energy, water resources and wastes, technological innovation, economic and occupational requirements’ analysis, organizational consulting, customer satisfaction of public services, corporate social responsibility, equal opportunities, integrated planning on European call for applications oriented to research and development or with social aims.

The main project with European partnership are: Equal projects focused on safety, quality and restoration (with the collaboration of Arse), on women in the construction sector (Acanto) and on non-Eu workers in building trade (Insereg/Insieme), on Social dialogue, on Responsibility and regularity in sector’s organisations (Raedes, Terso and Ausiliare), the integrated project Manubuild (IV° Framework programme) and projects actually in progress (Leonardo/IM2S on safety and Brc on corporate social responsibility).
