Goals / remit of the organisation: The SRA is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales. We do not represent solicitors but regulate organisations and individuals providing legal services including solicitors, law firms and their employees, and other lawyers working with them. We act in the public interest to set, promote and secure the standards of professional behaviour and performance, and we aim to ensure consumers receive a good standard of service and that the rule of law is upheld.
