Die AG Kino – Gilde e.V. vertritt die gemeinsamen Interessen der Filmkunsttheater nach Außen und unterstützt die Kinos bei ihren täglichen Arbeit. Derzeit sind rund 300 Kinobetreiber mit 500 Leinwänden Mitglied in der AG Kino – Gilde e.V. außerdem unterstützen rund 40 Verleiher, Verbände, Einzelpersonen und Unternehmen als außerordentliche Mitglieder den Verein. Seit 2000 hat die AG Kino – Gilde e.V. ihren festen Sitz in Berlin.
