NCVO represents the views of its members, and wider civil society to government, the European Union and international bodies. We are also at the leading edge of research into, and analysis of, civil society.
We campaign on generic issues affecting civil society, such as the role of the civil society in public service delivery and the future of the European Union.

Founded in 1919, we are the largest umbrella body for the civil society in England with sister councils in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
