Pagantis was born in April 2011 as the first Spanish platform for micropayments of digital contents. On November 2012, Pagantis baceame a Payment institution authorized by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Its activity is now under the supervision of the Bank of Spain
Pagantis' mission is to develop an alternative payment product which facilitates the purchase process, assures user data and increases conversion rates. It bases its activities on three core values:
- transparency, actors of a payment process have at any time of the transaction all the current information, historical ... etc,
- safety, ensuring all data from one process, whether banking or personal,
- and innovation because it’s a “live” product which is in constant evolution following the market, trends and needs of users and merchants.
