Le Grand Orient de France, Puissance symbolique Régulière souveraine, est la plus ancienne des Obédiences maçonniques libérales et a dogmatiques. Ordre initiatique forte de 50,000 membres répartis en près de 1200 loges en France et dans le monde, son siège est à Paris. Les membres du Grand Orient de France poursuivent un chemin initiatique propre. Le Grand Orient de France défend et promeut également les valeurs de l'humanisme dans la société, héritage de la philosophie des Lumières. Très attaché à la défense de la laïcité et des libertés publiques, le Grand Orient de France est un interlocuteur des pouvoirs publics au niveau national en France mais aussi au niveau international, en particulier auprès des institutions de l'Union européenne.
