Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: The Vision of the IED is to create an environment that promotes entrepreneurship, research and the entrepreneurial spirit and mindset of businesses, creating long-lasting relationships with society and the academic community. Its vision is anthropocentric and its basic concern is to provide assistance to citizens and disadvantaged groups in order to increase the level of social inclusion and cohesion of these groups.

The primary goals of the IED include:
- provision of developmental and technical assistance to populations of developing countries
- contribution to activities that contribute to the development of intellectual, economic, social and cultural levels
- promotion of volunteer work and effort
- promotion of economic and social processes of disadvantaged groups
- promotion of the philosophy and principles of entrepreneurship
- support of innovative entrepreneurial ideas
- assistance towards the complete development of entrepreneurial activity
- provide assistance for the qualitative improvements and quantitative increase in responsiveness of business and organisations to national, European and international policies, programmes and actions that concern them
