Die Wiener Börse AG stellt die Handelsplattform für den Handel von Wertpapieren in Österreich als regulierter Markt zur Verfügung.
Die Wiener Börse betreibt nicht nur die einzige Wertpapierbörse Österreichs, sondern auch die österreichische Strombörse EXAA und die CEGH Gas Exchange der Wiener Börse. Für die reibungslose und effiziente Durchführung der Börsegeschäfte und die Vermittlung zwischen allen Marktteilnehmern stellt die Wiener Börse state-of-the-art Infrastruktur, Marktdaten und Informationen zur Verfügung.
Zu den Hauptgeschäftsbereichen zählen der Handel am Kassamarkt (equity market, bond market), am Terminmarkt und der Handel mit strukturierten Produkten. Zusätzliche Leistungen umfassen Datenverkauf, Indexentwicklung und -management sowie finanzmarktspezifische Seminare und Lehrgänge.
Die Wiener Börse ist Initiator und, ebenso wie die Börsen Budapest, Laibach und Prag, eine Tochter der CEE Stock Exchange Group (CEESEG), der größten Börsegruppe Zentral- und Osteuropas.
