Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: The Chemistry Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTQC) is a non-profit making private foundation created in 2008 with a board of trustees from academia, industry and the Catalan government (ACC1Ó).

The CTQC contributes to the sustainability, competitiveness, innovation and technological progress of companies in the chemical industry in a global environment through services, RDi projects and transfer of innovative technologies.

The centre provides its users and clients with the know-how they require to satisfy their technological needs.

Priority RDiI lines have been defined so that the services provided are based on excellence. These priority lines are: environmental impact and sustainability, industrial biotechnology, membrane technology, microencapsulation, the engineering and technology of production processes (reaction and design; and modeling, simulation and control), catalysts and catalytic processes, smart materials and industrial safety.
