Misión: Somos una sola nacionalidad, con territorio, cultura y autonomía, que orienta el desarrollo de nuestros sistemas propios de organización y justicia, educación integral, salud, comunicación, producción y economía para grantizar el bienestar social y humano de todo el pueblo Awá, en sintonía y armonía con los principios universales con los demás pueblos.
Los objetivos de la Federación de Centros Awá del Ecuador (FCAE) son:
• Fortalecer la capacidad organizativa institucional de la FCAE y del pueblo Awá.
• Defender el territorio y rescatar los valores y la identidad propia y cultura tradicional Awá.
• Promover la participación de los Centros en la toma de decisiones en torno a sus recursos, su territorio y su propia vida; se reconozcan como actores del desarrollo, fortalezcan su autonomía, la seguridad alimentaria.
• Promover la participación en el desarrollo de procesos de formación y capacitación de hombres y mujeres, líderes comunitarios.
• Ejecutar programas de investigación y producción, orientados a mejorar y diversificar la producción agropecuaria y forestal.
• Promover el manejo y aprovechamiento sostenible de los recursos naturales.
• Generar ingresos y conservar los recursos naturales en la perspectiva del bienestar familiar y comunitario.
