Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: The City of Stockholm's Environment and Health Administration, MF, is the authority responsible for the environmental health of the City. MF has approximately 200 employees. The long-term target is for Stockholm to continue to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases at the same rate as between 1990 and 2005, thus achieving the goal “Fossil Fuel Free City 2050”. The environmental work in the City is guided by the Environment Program and Stockholm’s Action Program on Climate Change (SACC).
