Unioncamere Marche is financed by public funding coming from the local Chambers of Commerce and partly from other public institutions and European projects.
Unioncamere Marche represents the 5 Chambers of Commerce of Marche Region. It also acts as a coordinating body for the enhancement of the regional economy through the promotion of the relations with other regional, national and European institutions. Some of its main activities consist in providing information on European policies, legislation and funding programmes through inquiries, seminars and training schemes; promoting partnerships between transnational public and private bodies, and coordinating multi-lateral projects.
The Internationalization Department of “Unioncamere Marche” has been set up following the closure of “Centro Estero”, with the intention of merging all the Internationalization functions of the Regional System of the Chambers of Commerce into one subject within an action directed to rationalize the System resources. The Department has become the Regione Marche interface in the Internationalization field. Its activity, which is carried out in co-operation with the “Aziende Speciali” of the local Chambers of Commerce, is developed according to the needs of the territory and consists in identifying the local companies interests and carrying out plans of market analyses and sector research, in order to understand the demand of foreign markets starting from the offers of the local territory and identify the best internationalization strategies. Furthermore, the Department carries out intradepartmental and intra-provincial events as well as image-events which emphasizes the presence of Marche region abroad, also in co-operation with “Regione Marche”, ICE (Italian Trade Commission) and other local bodies.
Unioncamere Marche is partner in several transnational co-operation projects, providing partner search assistance and supporting the access to new markets in EU and extra-EU countries.
