SEMI members produce 9 billion EUR in Europe and employ directly 105.000 people, 500.000 indirect jobs.

Trade Fairs – SEMICON® trade show; devoted exclusively to products and services used to manufacture photovoltaic, semiconductor, micro-systems/MEMS and displays and taking place in Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Russia and the United States to attract the greatest number of decision makers.

International Industry Standards - SEMI's International Standards comprise the world's most comprehensive listing of standards specifications for semiconductor equipment and materials. These standards incorporate the needs and recommendations of vendors and users. Over 1400 volunteers work together to develop proposed standards which are then balloted among suppliers and customers. All approved specifications are published in thirteen volumes covering process chemicals, gases, equipment automation, hardware/ software, materials, packaging, microlithography, facility standards and safety guidelines.

Public Policy - SEMI has active government relations programs in the United States, Europe and Asia. These programs are dedicated to raising awareness around the semiconductor equipment and materials industry and its role as an enabler for the high-tech products and tools at the heart of today's economy.

Environment, Health and Safety - The EHS Division monitors and analyzes current issues and developments in EHS. It strives to inform and educate members about critical EHS issues, helping them understand and implement existing regulations. It also contributes the industry's experience in EHS implementation and risk management to policy makers, to help create effective EHS regulations and standards world-wide.

Market Statistics - The SEMI Equipment and Materials Market Statistics Program gives the industry it’s most accurate and timely reading on market size and product sales trends based on actual monthly data reported by industry participants worldwide.
