Other contact information: Founded in 2001, ADIVALOR(Agriculteurs Distributeurs Industriels pour la Valorisation des déchets agricoles) is one of the most advanced examples of a voluntary environmental organization in Europe. France is the only country in Europe to have a national voluntary organization dedicated entirely to the recovery of agri-supply waste, operational nationwide.

Following agreements signed in 2003 and 2011, this voluntary initiative is dependent on the support of the Department of Ecology and Sustainable Development (MEDD) and the Environmental and Energy Conservation Agency (ADEME).

ADIVALOR has established a voluntary collection and recovery scheme for used packaging (phytopharmaceutical products, fertilizers and soil enhancers, seeds and plants, dairy farm hygiene products), unusable phytopharmaceutical products and used plastic films.
This initiative stands alone, undertaken on a voluntary basis and depends on the committment of 240 industrialists or contributing importers, 1,000 participating distributors, 250,000 farmers.
