Access defends and extends the digital rights of users at risk around the world. By combining innovative policy, user engagement, and direct technical support, we fight for open and secure communications for all.
Access Brussels office is actively involved in several EU legislative proposal impacting digital rights of users in Europe, including:

Access is a nonprofit NGO which advocates for the protection of human rights in the digital environment by ensuring an open internet where the rights of citizens - including freedom of expression, freedom of association, access to information and privacy - are upheld. This includes, but is not limited to, copyright and intellectual property issues, privacy (e.g. data protection, data retention, etc) and freedom of expression (media plurality, etc).
