European Parliament and European Commission initiatives on industry, energy, environment, research and innovations.
Legislative activity of European Commission's relevant Directorates General and European Parliament's committees.
In particular, legislative files of particular relevance are: package on circular economy, energy performance of buildings directive, resource efficiency, waste framework directive, ETS, Industrial Emissions Directive.
Of interest for the organization are also the instruments to support the activity of Research and Innovation and in particular Horizon2020 and LIFE.
The representative of the Organization participates to events (conferences, dinner debates, public hearings) organized by the European Parliament on topics of particular interest.
The organization is also an active member of industry trade associations such as Confindustria (Italian Industry Federation) and Cembureau (European Cement Sector Association) and has collaborated and participated to official events and initiatives organized by the abovementioned associations to promote the dialogue with main European Institutions.
The representative of the organization has been engaged in meetings with representatives and officials of European institutions according to the guidelines of the European Transparency Register.
An official delegation of the European Parliament Commettee on Industry has visited i.lab – Italcementi Research and Innovation department, on March 27th 2014 and has met the organization top management.
The person in charge of relations with European Institutions (Matteo Benusiglio) has been officially registered as Italcementi Group's representative in the European parliament Register since 2008
