Glass Alliance Europe's objective is to coordinate, unify and represent the views and concerns of the European Glass Industry with respect to major government institutions -notably the EU Commission- and, by maintaining close contact with the Commission, to advise sectors and national associations of any relevant legislative move.
To promote glass as:
- a material with numerous applications among a large public
- an innovative, creative, reliable and ecological material

Glass Alliance Europe monitors all matters affecting the glass industry but mostly at the following levels :
commercial and trade policy,
social policy / health & safety,
