Goals / remit of the organisation: ShareAction is the operating name of Fairshare Educational Foundation, a UK registered charity that exists to promote an investment system that serves savers, society and the environment. Our focus is the encouragement of responsible investment (“RI”) among pension funds and other institutional investors, and in particular shareholder engagement on environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks with the potential to affect long-term financial returns. We also work to improve transparency and accountability to ultimate beneficiaries.
