| Goals / remit of the organisation: |
Créé en 1979 et dirigé par Thierry de Montbrial. l'Institut Français des Relations Internationales (Ifri) vise à :
produire une recherche policy-oriented sur les affaires internationales et les grandes tendances émergentes;
favoriser le débat entre décideurs, chercheurs et leaders d'opinion aux niveaux national et international,
Indépendant de toute tutelle, avec une trentaine de chercheurs français et étrangers permanents et un réseau de chercheurs associés, des ressources diversifiées de l'ordre de 6 millions d'euros, dont environ 70% d'origine privée, 80 entreprises partenaires, 15 programmes de recherche, l'Ifri, chaque année, organise plus de 200 conférences et débats à Paris, à Bruxelles, ou dans d'autres capitales mondiales, accueille plus de 10 000 participants et publie plus de 100 notes et études, en français, an anglais, en allemand ou en russe.
