Waste Denmark is an organisation representing the major waste management companies in Denmark. The member companies belong to both the private and the public sectors. They are the leading companies of the country in terms of environmental profile and R&D in the field of resource management. The organisation particpates actively in the public debate, principally in areas like environment, energy, resource management. The organisation has been represented in Brussels for more than 15 years and the expertise of its representative, Jacques Hoffenberg, is recognised both within the Commission's services and the EUropean Parliament.
