The German Federation of Private Plant Breeders is a research association and has a long-lasting experience supporting research projects of German plant breeders especially SMEs. The GFP was founded in 1908 and has 60 members. The GFP connects plant breeders and scientists from academia to initiate public-private-partnership and carry out collective research projects on a pre-competitive level.
