Goals / remit

Goals / remit of the organisation: The idea driving our company is the overcoming of the long-lasting division of Europe in East and West which occurred with the defeat of united European armies at Mohács (Hungary) in 1526. After this date and 2007 when the main "South-Eastern" brothers were added to the European family, the two parts of the continent had diverging evolutions.

Based on the company motto “EX ORIENTE LUX. EX OCCIDENTE LEX”, the mission of our company is to support both Western European as well as Romanian and South-Eastern European companies by offering them political contacts, defence of legislative interests and strategic interdisciplinary and intercultural consultancy, expertise, so that they can really come together across borders and find to each other. This mission is the establishment of long-term strategic business, academic and political relationships between Romania, South-East Europe and Western Europe, especially Germany and thus contribute to finalizing not only the European single market but to promoting the unification in the social field as well.

Individual areas of action and interest comprise:

1. Creating concepts of political cooperation between parties from Eastern and Western Europe on specific issues: economic and financial policy; foreign policy and diplomacy.

2. Intermediation of personal contacts between members of political parties and national parliamentarians from Romania and Germany, the EU Parliament with representatives of NGOs, research institutes and interest groups.

3. Lobbying on European legislation, esp. with regard to the production and trading with organic raw materials (grains, etc.) with the European Commission and the European Parliament Brussels and Strasbourg.

4. Lobbying on European legislation with selected members of the European Parliament and European Commission regarding the "Social Market Economy" model of macroeconomic and social organisation as well as on the model of the "Dual Vocational Education and Training" system.
