Complementary information:

The number of persons engaged in activities falling under the scope of the register includes two Brussels based collaborators on a full time basis (holders of permanent access badges), one part-time Brussels based collaborator on a full time basis (holder of a permanent access badge) and three Paris-based collaborators on a part-time basis. Other collaborators may be involved in activities falling under the scope of the Register through the activities of European federations (or other similar organisations) in which they represent directly a national body (ex. sectoral association) and not Veolia Environnement. These organisations are independently registered to the present Register. For these reasons, those collaborators have not been taken into account in the present declaration.

Other (financial) information provided by the organisation:

The estimated figure indicated above takes into account staff costs (full-time for those based in Brussels and part-time for those based in Paris), administrative costs (by applying the share of staff cost to the administrative costs, as recommended) and the costs of external activities. Following the guideline, membership fees (see list of concerned organisations under “network” section) have not been taken into account as all organisations are independently registered to the Transparency Register. The figures in above section 3 are those listed on the European Commission’s database (Financial Transparency System) and are based on financial year 2010 as the 2011 figures are not yet available. As indicated in the database, the figures provided are a result of a competitive process and represent budgets allocated to the delivery of a service and/or execution of specific activities/tasks and not necessarily the amount paid in 2010. The “grants” figure relates to two RFP7 research projects of which Veolia Environnement Research and Innovation is part of the consortium.
