ECIU is an acronym for European Consortium of Innovative Universities.
The partnership was established in 1997 and registered as a Foundation under Dutch law with 10 European members and 2 associate partners (from Mexico and Russia).
The ECIU’s vision is:

ECIU is the leading international consortium of research intensive universities, with collective emphasis on innovation, creativity and societal impact, driving the development of a knowledge-based economy.
