Yara is an old norse word for "a good year", characterized by a good harvest. We try to live up to the ambition in our name in many ways and at many levels. We help farmers get better yield and deliver healthy food to a growing population in the most effective and sustainable way. We enable more biomass growth to deliver renewable energy to the world, and we help cleanse the air and eliminate toxic waste by delivering new and innovative solutions for the control and capture of emissions.
