Goals / remit of the organisation: KRITYANAND UNESCO CLUB ,JAMSHEDPUR ,INDIA is an NGO working for the UNITED NATIONS and its system and Registered under Indian Societies Registration Act 1860, Under the Government of Jharkhand,Ranchi.we are working for social development and welfare for poor communities.we also conduct Research work in our organization.The organization have consultative status with UNCCD,Bonn,Germany, Member of United Nations Global Compact and Member of Global Alliance for ICT and Development,United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs,UN. Member of the ICC,USA.

Krityanand UNESCO Club is a Non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan Voluntary organization situated in Jamshedpur, India. We are working for the aims and purpose of the United Nations and its system. We have been working in field of Education, Health and sanitation, (Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS), Gender discrimination, Non –formal education (for Disadvantage/poor people), child and women development, Agriculture, Rural Development, Environmental issues, Sustainable Development, leadership Development programme and Human-Rights etc. Since its inception in 1992.this is a charitable and philanthropic organization, trying to achieve the Millennium Development Goals by providing sanitation to all by 2025.

The Krityanand UNESCO Club is working to contribute to the work of the United Nations within Consultative relationship with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is governed by the principles contained in Council Resolution 1996/31. KRITYANAND UNESCO CLUB, JAMSHEDPUR has a Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, We support and promote the work of the United Nations and the achievement of the MDGs.
To increase public awareness on the aims and purpose of the United Nations and Social and Economic Development Issues.


To actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate and to be an organization that continually respond to the changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards development of sustainable society that promote and protects the equality, social justice and Human Rights.


To work towards the promotion of the aims and objective of the United Nations and its system for development of society, and in pursuance of its vision and guiding principle. The organization organize program to facilitate the development of our societies through social work, research work , disseminates knowledge of United Nations and its program as well reaches out to the larger community through extent ion at local ,National levels

The Krityanand UNESCO Club objectives is to increase public awareness about Global Development Issues, to support the activities of United Nations agenda for Global Development in 21st Century, in order to achieve the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the United Nations, In pursuit of its vision and mission the Krityanand UNESCO Club objective is to enhance social and economic empowerment of the community.

Complementary information: Governed by an independent Board of Governing Council, the Krityanand UNESCO Club is a Registered NGO under Societies Registration Act, 1860 with Government of Jharkhand and tax-exempt institution. We are working for the aims and purpose of the United Nations and its work among our society. At the 41st plenary meeting, On July 23rd, 2012, Krityanand UNESCO Club Jamshedpur was officially granted special consultative status as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The ECOSOC is one of 6 principal organs of the United Nations System established by the UN Charter in 1945 and serves as the central forum for formulating policy recommendations regarding international economic and social issues. NGO consultative status allows Krityanand UNESCO Club Jamshedpur to make direct contributions to the programs and goals of the United Nations by accessing and participating in the work of the ECOSOC. In 1997 we established a library on International system with support of different UN agencies and in 2006 we started our service in Social and Economic Development Program through our Research works in different social sector.
