    Goals / remit

The Association strives to enhance privacy, e-security and data protection across Europe and beyond, considering that privacy is a
fundamental right.

The Association will:

1.Provide a ‘space’ for bringing together experts across Europe (and beyond), engage, and collaborate on new policies which help enhance privacy, e-security and data protection in a sustainable way.

2.Work as a pan-European network of privacy, data protection and security experts, from a broad range of backgrounds, through a Scientific Committee, Business Members and Policy makers.

3.Encourage the development of transparent, easily accessible and intelligible information to the data subject (also by way of data protection seals and marks), accountability and privacy-by-design.

EPA brings stakeholders together as so to find solutions that work best for all parties. The Association is non-political and works closely with government officials, citizens and industry.
