Other contact information: The Dutch Association of Aviation Technicians is a formal categorical Union which represents the interests of the certifying staff in the Netherlands and abroad. The certifying is responsible for issuing a certificate of release to service after aviation maintenance. I.a.w. the certifying staff decides if a commercial aircraft may fly or not after maintenance. We have about 800 members, the total amount of certifying staff in the Netherlands is about 2000.

Our association is recognized by the aviation companies KLM and Transavia and is a member of the Aviation safety network of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment. We are also a member of occurrence advisory group of the Inspectorate for Transport, Public Works and Water Management, the CAA.
