Goals / remit of the organisation: Regional Office of the Lodzkie Region is responsible for creating a positive image of the region in Europe and the acquisition of information, which are relevant to the interests of the region and are often available only in Brussels.

Functions of the Office:

• Monitor actions taken by European institutions on matters important to the interests of the Lodzkie Region
• Informing the local authorities, organizations and institutions in the region of the possibilities of applying for the measures under the Community Programs
• Representing the interests of the region by the European institutions
• Promotion of the Lodzkie Region in Brussels and other regions of the European Union
• Lobbying for the projects submitted to Brussels by local authorities and institution of the region

Ways of carrying out the tasks:

• The establishment and consolidation of regular contacts with European institutions, in particular, the Committee of the Regions, the European Commission and the European Parliament
• Building partnerships and exchanges of experiences with representatives of other regions, including the Polish regional offices
