Other contact information:	REFCOM is an official company certification body appointed by Defra in 2009 to administer F Gas Company Certification in accordance with regulation 22(1) and 24(1) of the FGG Regulations 2009. Established in 1994, REFCOM began its voluntary company registration scheme and sought to raise standards in the SRAC sector with successive governments in response to the Kyoto protocol.REFCOM voices the interests of almost 4000 fgas certificated businesses in GB & NI which employ over 13,600 qualified engineers.

Goals / remit of the organisation:	Refcom's main goal is to promote best practice in refrigerant handling which means working to industry codes of practice and in compliance with all current legislation to ensure containment of refrigerant of any type.
