Goals / remit of the organisation: EWLA is a federation of non-governmental organisations, which is committed to improving the way research animals and wild animals are treated throughout the European Union. It uses its scientific and technical expertise to advise on animal welfare issues and encourages the validation and use of alternative testing methods.
